Comedy is one of the most beautiful things in life. Laughter is a wonderful act and something that keeps us healthy.

There is a saying,

Laughter is a pleasant sound, it spreads joy all around Whether you’re young or old, laughter can be like Magic to our souls, whenever we’re feeling sad Laughter can sustain us so that things don’t seem Quite so bad, if we give into laughter, it can be like A cure for something that seems impossible to endure So any time your spirits need a lift fill yourself With laughter and you will find, a much happier Person with a peaceful frame of mind.

We all love to watch Stand up comedy; comedians, they just make us laugh and make us feel like everything is okay.

What the following Ted Show, which is also a Comedy show. ENJOY and remember: when it comes to comedy, we are all Alike, no matter what culture you come from, the comedy is the same!


What Are You Eating???

Does it freak you out when a watermelon is huge and no seeds? Does it scare you that some meats are massive? For those uneducated about its reasoning, they might be impressed, and that is a dangerous game.


Because this is what this world has become. Genetically modified foods has overtaken our world. With GE (Genetically Engineered) and GMOs (Genetically Modified Organisms), they are building in crops with built-in pesticides, by growing foods abnormally large and fast.

It is what we eat that affects us. People are dying more and more with cancer and other illnesses. We notice that we are less resistance to illnesses nowadays and this is determined in fact by the foods we eat. Back in history, we didn’t have this many illnesses and people dying for such reasons, and this is our FOODS. Our GMOs and GE crops have altered our system and it is time we are informed if the food we eat is in fact being Genetically Modified or Genetically Engineered.

What You Watch is What You Are!

What should we allow our kids to watch? Is it correct to allow children to watch TV shows and movies all day? Is it a waste of a life to spend all day watching TV? There are controversial opinions about this. Some may say we learn through visualizing, well what about what we watch? Take a look and make your opinion.

What in common do all these have in common?

Some may say fun, others may say waste of time, some may say unproductive, others may say relaxing. Many opinions can go around, but it is what it is, You Become What You Watch. What is meant by this is that when you are a person that does nothing but watch TV all day, then you become someone that does not use your brain and that does not live a productive life. Sure, it’s okay to watch TV every once in a while, however it is important to have your limits in a day. It is true you know what they say, that if you watch TV shows too often, you begin to feel that real life is like a tv show, romance is just like TV shows and you begin living in a world that does not exist in reality. I must say that I was a victim of such a life at some point in my younger years, and saw what it did to me.

This is not to say that TV is bad, TV is not bad, in fact it can be good, but how?

TV is productive when you follow the latest News to know more about what is happening around you, TV is good when you watch the Discovery Channel such as History, Technology, Geography, Science and Space. TV is not Bad, you simply need to make good choices in what you watch and/or what your children watch. This is not to say you cant watch a TV show in your life that is not informative, but remember to limit those and exceed the others.

All this to say, that instead of wasting your day watching TV shows, try to spend it on more productive activities such as being Active, Having intellectual conversations with other people, and much more. And remember, if you decide to watch TV, do not forget that You Are What You Watch, and these values and information you see and intake, you begin to express them in your own life, so watch productive shows and make your life worthwhile and influential.

I am certain that Most of us have experienced the dramatic disturbance of mosquitos and bugs in general. While camping, swimming, picnicking, or simply having a nice evening out in the backyard, you just can’t get rid of those blood-sucking beasts, yes Beasts!


You can put mosquito repellent, known as DEET, and wear all the layers you want, sometimes, you just can’t help it. Mind you, it is not the best idea to be putting this chemicals on your body as it is harmful and unhealthy. So here are some Preventative Measures to help you read a Mosquito’s mind and actions. Be sure to follow these as best as you can to enjoy your time. This is the season, for both us and the mosquitoes. Sad, but true!

1. You can avoid getting bit by staying inside around dawn and dusk.
2. Otherwise, Wear light-colored, long sleeved shirts and long pants, hats and socks.
3. Stay away from water
4. Keep your body temperature at cool and dry and avoid skin chemicals
5. Avoid Bananas, as banana oil attracts mosquitoes!
6. Add more vitamin B1 into your diet to make you less attractive to mosquitoes
7. Regularly consume garlic or garlic capsules
7. Using a simple house fan when doing a night out in the backyard
8. Planting marigolds around your yard which works as a bug repellent from the fragrance that the flowers give off that bugs do not like

Remember: Mosquitoes are attracted to you when you are sweaty and when your skin is in plain view.

Currently, DEET (N,N-diethyl-meta-toluamide) is used in more than 230 different products — in concentrations of up to an astounding 100 percent. If a chemical melts plastic or fishing line, it’s not wise to apply it to your skin — and that is exactly what DEET does.Duke University Medical Center pharmacologist Mohamed Abou-Donia spent 30 years researching the effects of pesticides. He discovered that prolonged exposure to DEET can impair cell function in parts of your brain — demonstrated in the lab by death and behavioral changes in rats with frequent or prolonged DEET use.
