A Banana A day Keeps The Doctor Further Away!

Many of us have conflicting thoughts and misconceptions about bananas.

Here is the official truth and you be the judge:

A Banana contain three natural sugars namely sucrose, fructose and glucose and filled with fiber.

I also helps with many illnesses such as:

Depression: Bananas contain tryptophan which is a protein that is converted into serotonin when injected in the body.  Serotonin is the hormone that makes you feel good.

PMS: When in pain ladies don’t take pills eat a banana, bananas contain vitamin B6 which helps regulate blood sugar Kevel which which can affect your mood otherwise.

Anemia: Bananas contain high iron levels therefore increases the production of hemoglobin in the blood.

Brain Strength: Before an exam eat a banana as it boosts the brain function.

Blood Pressure: Bananas are high in potassium and low in salt which helps reduce risk of unbalanced blood pressure and strokes.

Constipation: Fiber levels are high which helps your diet and your bowel function, as opposed to what many believe about bananas.

Hangovers: Bananas with honey and milk help heal the system by calming the stomach, depleting sugar levels and hydrating the body.

Heartburn: Bananas contain a natural antacid to sooth heartburn.

Ulcers: Bananas neutralize over acidity and reduces the irritation into the stomach through its soft texture.

Morning sickness: Bananas keep blood levels up and therefore keeps you from feeling sick in the stomach.

Nerves: High B vitamins in the banana helps calm your nerves.

Mosquito bites: When bitten by a mosquito try rubbing a banana skin on top of the bite and it will reduce swelling and irritation. (I personally have not tried it, but as the season comes again I will definitely test this one)

Temperature balance: Apparently bananas lower the physical and the emotional temperature of an expectant mother so eating a banana a day helps your baby to be born on a cool temperature.

Pretty neat I find. So much new information and new remedies.

So when you plan a nutritional day, don’t just focus on eating an apple a day but a banana as it has much more benefits than an apple.
