“Foreign Accent Syndrome” Scary Huh?

I just recently found out about a specific condition of *Foreign Accent Syndrome*. This is very odd how someone can live their whole life in one place and all of a sudden have an accent of some total different place they never been.

Foreign Accent Syndrome: Foreign accent syndrome (FAS) is speech disorder that causes a sudden change to speech so that a native speaker is perceived to speak with a “foreign” accent.  FAS is most often caused by damage to the brain caused by a stroke or traumatic brain injury. Other causes have also been reported including multiple sclerosis and conversion disorder and in some cases no clear cause has been identified.

So is that scary or what? Not very many develop that syndrome, however for the very few that do, it’s very odd.

Self Control or Self Controlled?

I am sure we all remember the Marshmallow experiment… I remember learning it in high school.

Parent says if you keep this marshmallow in front of you and don’t eat it until the parent comes back, you will get two. Can you resist? Can you control yourself and wait?

Take this in for a second, you can always be strong enough to control your mind, and this will define you. The harder you work for yourself, the better you feel, so always strive to better yourself and your mind, because something as simple as the marshmallow experiment can teach you self-control which will go far with you your whole life.

Processed Meats: Rather Eat Poison!

Does this sound like something you want to put into your body? Sorry for my language, but Hell No!

Sadly, in this day of age, almost all food is processed and that is why people are dying early and living with far more diseases than ever before. There are processed meats among many, such as bacon, sausage, hot dogs, sandwich meat, packaged ham, pepperoni, salami and all red meat used in frozen prepackaged meals. All these have sodium nitrite and monosodium glutamate (MSG) inside them which is a major cause of cancer these days and we don`t even take it seriously.

Ofcourse, it is more expensive and more work to watch what your eating, but it is VERY IMPORTANT! You don`t want to wake up in 10 years saying I wish I focused more on my health! Trust me.

I will not repeat everything written in the article because I will be plagiarising every word because I don`t want you to miss out on anything as it is all important and should be taken to the ultimate priority list.

I have to say… Ever since I posted about this Green Coffee Bean Extract, I have been researching and reviewing if this pill is actually worth it and HEALTHY.

However, though I saw many reviews that gave it positive feedback, though I STILL AM NOT CONVINCED. As I saw a video with Brenda Leigh Turner, I just gave up on the idea. I mean supplements… I have never been able to support supplements like the ones in green coffee extract. All these supplement diets I know are not good for you, I have never supported such a supplement and it has been bothering me since I posted about this extract. Don’t get me wrong I have been hoping they were legitimate and healthy but I think being rather Safe than Sorry is much better. Let’s say they do work. What happens when you stop? Do you gain the weight back and more? Like Dr. Bernstein … I have know many that have done it, and gained the weight all back and more.

SO. I am sorry if I gave some of you hope, but You will need to make that decision on your own because to tell you the truth, I can’t support something that I am not 100% about. I fear this supplement, therefore, I will skip this idea for myself. You make the decision for yourself.

I must say all the advertisement, its working… I know a LivingSocial Deal has come out, and over 400 people have bought it. It’s scary, I guess we can’t tell just yet what the deal is with it.

What is wellness? What is health? Easy… eating right, staying in shape, basically keeping your body and mind safe. Right?

We really are blessed to feel this way. In fact, if you are reading this, you are more than blessed because you have more than what the necessities of life are.

Some out there are suffering from famine, they can’t even think of eating *healthy* or eating *well* or keeping their body and mind *safe* because they themselves are not safe. They have no choice but to eat what they can get, if they get. Some can hardly think twice of what they are given, some are dying from hunger and others dying from war. Is it fair?

This is different then other blogs, but I want to open your eyes to something important about this life we are given and the blessings we are allowed. Appreciate and give.

Make awareness a possibility! Spread the word and don’t take life for granted!

Staying Younger, For Longer !

What is his secret to great health? Food is linked to how long one lives, in fact studies show that controlling the amount of food you eat extends longevity. Choice of food is very important and must be controlled in order to achieved highest life expectancy. Calorie restriction is definitely one way of keeping healthy and avoiding bad health and diseases, in fact, over-consuming protein is unhealthy too.

In fact, most essential way of keeping healthy is fasting. Scary but true, fasting is beneficial to the brain and health immunity. Essentially, this can be shown with mice experiments starting from minute 43 in the video showing how fasting can trigger new nerve cells in the brain and cognitive ability is increased. Alternate day fasting is said to be the healthiest.

Michael Mosley has set himself an ambitious goal to live longer, stay younger and lose weight too. Michael tests out the science of fasting on himself – with life-changing results.

P.S. More studies still need to be done to confirm this study (through human testing).

advise: eat at least 2000 calories, fasting must be first reviewed by your doctor.
