Artificial Sweetners are UnHealthy and Not Diet!

Growing body of research shows artificial sweeteners raise your risk of both obesity and Type 2 diabetes — perhaps even to a greater degree than sugar.

Unfortunately, many people mistaken the facts thinking that artificial sweeteners in products are a healthier option , as they are low calories, but this is such a misconception. It boggles my mind thinking that some people may choose diet drinks or sweet and low sweeteners in order to avoid gaining weight but truth is obesity stems from these artificially sweetened products and processed foods. Fact is, artificial sweeteners cause just as many health problems as sugar does. More deterrent, unlike sugar, artificial sweeteners were found to accumulate in blood, leading to more significant damage to blood vessels.

A disturbing fact about artificial sweeteners is that they are also found to trick the body into using alternative sources of glucose, such as muscle. So, when you are thinking you are trying to lose fat by having artificial sweeteners , think twice, because you are only harming your body and losing everything you are working hard to accomplish.

Sweeteners simply trick the body. And then when your body’s not getting the energy it needs to function properly, due to lack of sugar, it  finds that source elsewhere, therefore wears your body down from actually doing the proper functions.

Contrary to industry claims, research over the last 30 years have shown that artificial sweeteners stimulate appetite, increase cravings for carbs, and produce a variety of metabolic dysfunctions that promote fat storage and weight gain.

Next time you want to save on fat, and have a “DIET coke”, take a second to think twice.

Divorce Should Not Be Instinct!

Divorce can seem simple right…
Two people no longer love each other and chose to move on without one another. Life is too short,  divorce is the answer…

Sure…

Divorce nowadays is an answer to anything and everything gone wrong.

People don’t even try anymore and decide it’s Over because that *Spark* is no longer there, or that *Love* is lost …. but what is the meaning of Love?

Here we are in 2015…. Divorce rates are off the walls and people make that the solution to something so normal.

Love needs work….
Respect needs work….
Trust needs work…
CHILDREN….. need work, love, trust and example!

Are we showing an example to our children when we are divorcing?

This is not to say Divorce is never an answer to a broken marriage… but think twice about the reason why this marriage is breaking… and if divorce in fact is the solution …

In this day in age…. people don’t seem to think about what they are leaving behind and who they are affecting…. if you have Children. .. it is ten times harder and making a decision to get a divorce should not be taken lightly… Here is a quick video about what Divorce can do to children.

Researchers found that people who are regularly bombarded with several streams of electronic information cannot pay attention, recall information or switch from one job to another as well as those who complete one task at a time.

Multitasking kills performance and may damage your brain, science says.

WHY? It reduces efficiency and performance because trying to do two things at once bombards you, and the brain can’t focus on two things fully at once.

More so, it lowers IQ, because your cognitive capacity is being diminished as you are not fully there, causing less brain density in the interior cingulate cortex, which is a region responsible for empathy as well as cognitive and emotional control.

Science shows that Multi-taskers are not good at paying attention, recall information, or quickly switching from one task to another.

And Multitasking causes low self and social awareness, as it it slows you down and diminished your cognitive capacity.

“Foreign Accent Syndrome” Scary Huh?

I just recently found out about a specific condition of *Foreign Accent Syndrome*. This is very odd how someone can live their whole life in one place and all of a sudden have an accent of some total different place they never been.

Foreign Accent Syndrome: Foreign accent syndrome (FAS) is speech disorder that causes a sudden change to speech so that a native speaker is perceived to speak with a “foreign” accent.  FAS is most often caused by damage to the brain caused by a stroke or traumatic brain injury. Other causes have also been reported including multiple sclerosis and conversion disorder and in some cases no clear cause has been identified.

So is that scary or what? Not very many develop that syndrome, however for the very few that do, it’s very odd.
